Best grill ever.

Best grill I've ever owned. Used my first least 3 times a week for 7 and a 1/2 years. It survived a 30 foot fall off of my Deck. Do to a cat 5 hurricane. Cleaned it up. Straightened up some sheet metal on the cart and it fired right back up. After 7 and a 1/2 years, the burners were only lighting the front half. The fire guards had worn out. Was going to order new parts? Until I realized I could not get the burners out without damaging the grill. The Cotter pins holding the back of the burners were welded in place after so long. Assembly instructions when you get the box. Are sketchy at the best? And I didn't know that the Cotter pants were only there for shipping and I should have taken them out. I now have a new blaze grill with the cotterpions taken out of the back of the burners I now have a new blaze grill with the Cotter pins taken out of the back of the burners. Should be the last grill I ever buy.

This grill is a level up!

I've cooked on stick burners, charcoal, and propane. I've always wanted a built in natural gas grill and after months of research the 32 inch 4 burner fit my budget and has everything I was looking for and then some. I finally got it installed today but my kitchen isn't finished yet. It's beautiful. I haven't cooked on it yet but I can't wait. It took 4 minutes to get to 450 degrees. At 15 minutes I was at 700 degrees! That's hot! Can't wait to sear some steaks. It's well insulated and appears to be pretty good quality. So far it's on another level compared to my previous lp grill. I anticipate my first cook soon and can't wait.

A lot of Grill for the Price

Finally had a chance to use the grill once the new built-in was finished. What surprised me most, is how effective the grate design is in leaving quality grill marks on the food. The triangle works as advertised. The grill pre-heats quickly with plenty of space for a lot of food if you desire. I did replace 1 burner with the infrared, a requirement for many searing applications and still leaves a large grate area (3 burners) for other grill item. The grill itself is high quality stainless, as are grates, flavor bars, heat shields, double walled lid. I cannot think of another grill that offers so much at this price point and I have used other brands such as DCS, Lion, Coyote at family members house. I can confidently recommend this is a great choice if you are in the market to a well build, designed and functional grill. You will not be disappointed.

With Cart

The grill is great. Love the lights and the quality. You have to learn to slow turn the knobs to get some gas going prior to the ignitor engaging. Especially on the rear infrared burner. The cart is good. Would be great but the casters are so hard to get to you have to get on hands and knees to lock and unlock. I would be truly hating this but I will be moving to mounting the rill head in a rock kitchen when the contractor can get to it.

Great grill and it has a heavy duty grill lid to keep the heat in as I grill even in the winter time. The last time it was only 28 and a little wind and the heat stayed hot. i would buy again.

Question:
The instructions for the natural gas grill specify a regulator set to 4" of water is required (it also shows a regulator in the diagram for the installing). Is this the regulator included on the grill? is an additional regulator required?

Hi Uncle Dan. The regulator on the natural gas Blaze Grills is already installed and set correctly for natural gas.

Question:
Is this grill still functional if its not plugged in? Can I still ignite the burners and perform basic function if it is not plugged in?

Asked by JoelAnswered by eririzarry

Answer:
Hi Joel. Blaze LTE grills only use the electrical connection for the interior lights and the LEDs over the knobs, leaving the entire grill functional if not used.

Asked by JoelAnswered by Wesley

Answer:
You can lite the grill manually without the electronic ignition. You can also use and extension cord rated for outdoor use. I learned all of this from reading the online owner's manual and not from my own personal experience. Hope this helps. Bruce

Question:
Will the Blaze Professional LUX stainless steel smoker box BLZ-PRO-SMBX work with this model or is there another smoker box that is compatible with this model?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, Kenny. The Pro model grill is a bit deeper than the LTE/LBM models and its smoker won't fit on the smaller grids. The LTE/LBM grills have their own smoker box made to fit right under their grids: www.bbqguys.com/blaze/stainless-steel-smoker-box-blz-smbx

Asked by KennyAnswered by Logan

This question was asked on a different product configuration.

Answer:
My invoice for the smoker box says I have the BLZ-SMBX. It doesn't say PRO so not sure if it's the same one. but the one I have does fit my grill.

Question:
Is there a reason for a rear infrared burner without a rotisserie? What would it be used for otherwise?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
I just installed my grill and don't yet have the rotisserie but plan on adding it. Could be useful to preheat grill or to keep things on rear rack warm.

Asked by JohnAnswered by bert

This question was asked on a different product configuration.

Answer:
There would be no need for the rear infrared without a rotisserie unless just providing some indirect heat to maybe keep some Items warm without a burner under those items that would keep cooking them.

Asked by JohnAnswered by eric

Answer:
Hi, John. You've got it right: rear burners are just for use with a rotisserie kit.

Question:
How long is the propane hose/regulator that comes with the grill and do you sell longer versions? Thank you, Matt

Question:
Hi, Does the Cutout Height of 8 1/2 inches only for cutout for the built-in Grill and does not include the counter top height? So in other words the cutout of 8 1/2 inches is for the grill only and counter can be any thickness? The reason I ask is someone told be that there is a flange on these that lay on top of the counter. Also do you have install instructions online I can look at before purchase? Do I need to have the grill installed before granite measurement templating is done? Thank you.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, Sandy. The cutout height will include counter top materials. Your stone mason will follow the counter top cut outs for the grill, but the grill is supported by the flanges on the sides and back of the grill. Granite should not be cut before the mason has access to the products.

Question:
The documentation supplied with this grill doesn't address how to install the flame tamers, heat separators, burners, etc. I gave it a deep cleaning it last night and I THINK I got it all back together correctly. But, my question is: Are some of these parts optional? Because, while these were all very greasy and needed to be cleaned, none of my grease has ever made its way to the drip pan. I NEVER need to clean the drip pan. So, I'm wondering if I have too many "optional" parts in there that are supposed to be removed (in most cases) to let the grease get to the drip pan.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, Jay. The heat zone separators are optional (though we do like them) but everything else does need to be reinstalled. One of the things the flame tamers will do is catch drippings to burn them back up as delicious smoke. What they don't burn would continue down to the drip tray but if you're not seeing much that's not a problem: it just means you're making use of everything your food had to give and not wasting extra left in the tray. If you tended to cook fattier meats or use a lot of sauces you might find more to clean down there. Blaze has a video on cleaning their grills that might help you to put the puzzle back together: youtu.be/2KNm9_-CQN0

Question:
The cutout that I have for the Fire Magic grill that I'm replacing is 32.5" W x 23.75" D x 12.75" H. Will the Blaze Premium LTE 32" grill fit in this opening? Will there be any issues with it?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, Mark. When replacing one grill brand with another, our suggestions are to either recut the opening, or find an insulated jacket that will closely fit. Please give us a call at 877-743-2269 and we can help guide you to the least "painful" solution. Unfortunately, the cutouts you have are too large for the Blaze LTE 32

Question:
Is a vented hood necessary when used in a covered breezeway against the wall.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Wendy. A vent hood should be used if using this grill underneath a covered area.

Asked by WendyAnswered by Joey, BBQGuys Expert

Answer:
Not sure if I'm the one who should be answering this. If there is plenty of ventilation, then I would say you don't need a ventilation hood. If your concerned or not sure, then yeah, go ahead an install one. Not sure if I was much help. Good luck.

Question:
We are installing this grill into an island that has a backsplash that is 4" X 15". How much space do we need to leave in order to open and close the lid properly. We are using a Blaze insulated jacket but don't know if it will fit. Thanks

Answer:
Hi Mike. You need 5" behind the grill for the lid to open fully.

Question:
Does this grill need a insulating jacket?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Lourdes. You will need an insulated jacket if you are installing it into a cabinet/island made with combustible materials.

Asked by LourdesAnswered by Joey, BBQGuys Expert

Answer:
I don't have a need for one. It works well as is.

Asked by LourdesAnswered by dmanton58

Answer:
My understanding is that it does if it is mounted in combustible materials e.g. wood. I built my outdoor kitchen with steel studs, surfaced with HardieBacker topped with manufactured stone and granite countertop without the insulated jacket and have had no issues. BTW, the grill is great! I replaced the left burner with the infrared searing burner which is very useful for grilling steaks or burgers on reduced heat or reverse searing meats that have been slow cooked on the other sections of the grill.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
